Most of us do not begin to realise how much each of our lives impacts the bodies of water of the world.

At the very least, Going Blue means doing something about reducing that impact by diminishing our personal acquatrail.

Here are some of the ways in which you can do this:
Use smaller handfuls of shampoo and conditioner each time you wash your hair. Save money too.

Instead of lying in the sun for hours using lotion, lie there a short time without. You get just as brown. Whether you swim it off, or shower it off, it will end up in the sea.

Use less washing liquid or detergent when washing your car.

Use one of the naturally formulated brands of detergents and washing up liquids.

Unless you are going to eat them, do not touch any form of marine life. I you do, they usually die.

If you smoke, don't throw your cigarette butts on the beach. Try quitting anyway!

If you own a motorboat or a yacht, think really hard about all your practices on board - the fuels you use and what you throw into the lake, river or sea.

The world's waters, and the life in them,
say thank you for starting to Go Blue Too.

Now, do much more! Offset your acquatrail
and become marine positive.
